Nigerian R&B firebrand Hermez continues on his sultry streak of afro-fusion excursions, following up recent 2-pack 'VROOM / Militant' with seductive new single ‘A-List’, a crisp and smooth homage to bae, produced by Hermez, with co-production and backing vocals from Suté Iwar.

It follows up Hermez’ debut album OASIS which dropped in October last year, featuring a who's who of the alté scene's foremost names in Suté Iwar, Tim Lyre, MOJO AF and AYLØ, has racked up close to 1m streams on all platforms and saw support in Spotify's Fresh Finds and RADAR playlists, 49th Street, COLORS, and Native Mag. 'Militant' is the first of two quick-fire singles coming from the Houston based artist and exhibits a new silkiness to his golden sound, mastered by Alec Ness.

According to Hermez “A-list is about my girl being the movie star to my film called life. She’s in love with a lot fancy shit & I’m okay with it. We wake up & live a blissful life. We ponder on the thought of kids while I serve her favorite Rosa. This is manifesto scenario I created with Sutè who is on production & sang background vocals.

Sutè says "When i was producing A-list, I wanted to capture that feeling of being entranced by someone as if they're the star of their own movie. When you hear the chorus, it's celebrating that person, drawing parallels between love and the magic of the silver screen."

The drop commemorates a special moment for Hermez as he prepares to hit London for his forthcoming debut UK show at The Ritzy, Brixton on October 30th.
